Dancers' Group is offering arts administration fellowships from March 16-July 13, 2015.

Fellowships are educational experiences to learn skills in arts administration and knowledge of the SF Bay Area's diverse dance community.

Fellows will learn about our ongoing artist services and presenting programs, including Bay Area Performing Arts Spaces, member services, In Dance and the Rotunda Dance Series, as well as planning for the 2015 Bay Area Dance Week and ONSITE. Fellows will work with staff to understand and support our marketing, outreach and production activities as well as take on fellow-specific educational projects to gain deeper insight into program development and evaluation.

Fellowships are typically structured as 10 hours each week, from March 16 through July 13, 2015. Some weekend availability for ONSITE performances is preferred. Fellows will receive an honorarium to help cover travel and food costs incurred and academic credit is available.

Applicants should be able to articulate why they are interested in learning about, and acquiring, the skills needed for a career in arts administration.

To apply, please send a one-page cover letter and a one-page resume to michelle@dancersgroup.org.

Application deadline: Monday, February 23

Dancers' Group is a service and presenting organization supporting the tremendous diversity of San Francisco Bay Area dance and its audiences. If you are interested in learning more about our history and programs visit dancersgroup.org.
