Luna Dance Institute offers a summer internship program for those wanting to gain proficiency working with a non-profit organization in the field of dance education. Interns are expected to have experience interacting with children and following through with administrative tasks. Currently we seek two persons who align with our mission and who are available to work 15-20 hours per week beginning 6/22/15 and ending 8/14/15, for a total of 90-100 hours. Interns receive a stipend and/or the opportunity to participate in a free professional learning course taught by Luna faculty.

Preliminary Intern Duties:

• Assist with summer dance camps and provide support for teaching artists
• Lead activities for summer camp dancers
•  Aid with Luna Kids Camp after-care
• Set-up camp technology and art materials
• Help maintain dance studio
• Support all aspects of promotion and public relations
• Prepare copies and literature for professional learning courses
• Organize catering for Summer Institute
• Create sign-in sheets and assist with workshop set-up
• Collaborate with Luna staff
