Teaching artist statement:

I teach to know. Creatively, personally, politically, I’m interested in the interplay—the space between us. What do we need to embrace, discover, dissect, or destruct? I teach teens; I teach executives; I teach peers; I teach college students. With each population, I seek to share the knowledge practices that I've explored in the dance studio and help students and clients fully embody this life.

Income statement:

For the last 5 years, my income has been 100% teaching (Pilates and dance). Recently, it has become closer to 50% administrative salary (which includes curriculum development and supervising teachers) and 50% teaching.
