I just recently found out about the DanceMapLA Project and am excited to read more about the dance community in Southern California. This project brought together researchers from the University of Southern California as well as the Dance Resource Center. I really like how the data is visually represented in various circle graphs.
For example, here is the one about dancers' total income per year:
The survey asked a variety of questions related to jobs, income, creating work, presenting work, and resources in the Los Angeles area. There is a lot to read and unpack here. I applaud the project for asking the questions, gathering responses, and creating a user friendly website to disseminate information.
