Let's Keep Coming Back to the Why and How of Writing and Talking about Our Work

I just read dance scholar Sima Belmar’s piece on the website Baywatch. First, take a few minutes to check out this online forum for writing about dance in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I highly recommend reading Sima’s piece. Within it, she inspires, reminds, and encourages us about why we, as dance artists, do indeed need to keep writing and speaking about our work. It is not an “either/or” activity, but intertwined ways of meaning making for both artists and audience members alike.
