Two prominent questions I am asking myself right now:

1) Why does this festival format produce a different kind of creative environment than traditional educational formats?

2) How can I access this low-pressure creativity in my own creative work, not just in the classroom?

I am in the process of creating an evening length show and am suffering from overthinking my creative ideas and not trusting my own voice, as so many of us do. Yet, at the same time, within the festival I am able to access a place where I do not feel that pressure and can just trust my creative instinct. This phenomenon is so fascinating to me, and I hope to find a way to utilize the tools and exercises from this festival in my own creative process.
