For 2017, I am collaborating with graphic designer Jenny Lederer to post one idea or question each month. This offering — post-election — aims to pause us all for a few minutes each month to think about our dance work and our role in society. Today I share with you the first 6 ideas for 2017. Please share, please pause, and please join me in considering the role of dance, the arts in general, and arts education in the United States at this given moment.
