Today we ask choreographer Kristin Damrow, "Why live art, now?"
Live art is the craft I chose. So I say, live art always! It’s the tool I have to express what I’m feeling, my perspectives, and my truth. Live art hits the viewers differently than any other type of art because it’s in the now, you have to be there to witness it. The experience offers a new perspective, a step away from reality, a good laugh, some inspiration, or even just a chance to get out and see something.
