If, I
A movement poem for March 29, 2020 by Jill Randall
If I send strength to my feet
I can move out of this situation
If I draw attention to my hands
I can gesture “stop”
If I bow my head
I can become humble
If I look around
I am an ounce less vain
If I place my left hand on the front of my heart
And my right hand to my tailbone
Gently press
Gently jiggle
I am here,
I am here
