Hello!

Today's music selection = "4 50" by Michael Wall, which is #5 on this playlist.

Begin today with a seeing activity. Put on the music and take a short walk around your home or the studio. Hone in on colors, objects, and textures. Bring this into your focus and attention. What is today's scenic design?

Start to move and improvise. Begin with your focus very near you and taking in your body, your clothing, your body in motion. Try this for a minute or two.

Then pull the focus and your eyes out a few feet beyond and around you. How about 6 feet? Keep moving.

Extend your focus to the walls and ceiling of this space. How does your movement change when you looking this far away? You can be stationery or traveling with your dancing.

And, are there any windows you can look out that take your focus even further? Keep moving. Keep looking.

I hope you will build a movement phrase for the poem today!
