Call for Conference Proposals:

Papers and workshops invited on somatic movement arts: transformational dance somatics, somatic yoga, and integrative bodywork.

Topics for papers and workshops, suggested but not limited to:

• Dance for Personal Development

• Somatics and Human Development

• Mindfulness in Somatics

• Teaching Dance Somatically

• Improvising the Chakras in Yoga and Dance

• Somatic Dance Maps

• Matching in Somatic Bodywork

• Somatic Principles of Inclusiveness

  Possible formats: Paper (20 minutes), Workshop (45 minutes), Panel (45 minutes), or Informal Concert Performance (10 minutes maximum). Send one-page proposals to Conference Program Chair Kelly Ferris, Kelly.ferris@q.com, ESN President Darby Ann Balling dakinidances@aol.com, and ESN Advisor Sondra Fraleigh, Eastwest@q.com. Send a brief description of your paper, workshop, or performance, and a short biography of no more than 200 words. One submission for paper or workshop, and one submission for performance. Submissions deadline: October 23, 2015.
