For Inspiration: 20 Quotes from 20 Artists

Today I want to share the link to the 20 quotes I have pulled from artist profiles over the years. Quotes come from artists such as Leah Cox, Vicky Shick, Joan Woodbury, and Susan Marshall. You can explore one quote a week in a course, or print them all out and use them for an activity.

One of my favorite activities comes from the Critical Friends Group training I did a few years ago. The facilitator handed out quotes to all of us; we all began with about 2-3 quotes in hand. For a few minutes, we read the quotes and kept passing them to our left. The goal was to land on one quote that was really resonating for us that day. Then, we turned to a partner and discussed our quotes. Last, we introduced ourselves to the group and talked about our quote. I love this activity as an ice breaker for workshops or classes.

Find the 20 quotes here.
